Engagements are structured into three formats — each calibrated to a different question a leadership team is asking. The work is sector-agnostic; the discipline is not. We will tell you, plainly, which format fits your situation.

Tier I — Entry Point

Performance Diagnostic

A structured, time-boxed assessment. Answers the question: what is actually going on, and what should we do about it? All TerraDynamic engagements begin here.

  • Prioritised constraint map & risk register
  • Quick-win interventions delivered during the engagement
  • Written report, executive brief, and 90-day roadmap
  • Honest recommendation on whether to proceed

Best for

  • Boards inheriting a complex asset or programme
  • Owners considering acquisition or restructure
  • Teams stuck without a shared picture of the problem

Typical duration: 2–4 weeks. Fixed scope, fixed fee.

Tier II

Implementation Partnership

Embedded delivery alongside your team. Answers the question: how do we actually get this done, to standard?

What’s included

  • Sequenced implementation plan with named owners
  • On-site presence at agreed cadence (weekly to monthly)
  • Operating-standard documentation and capability build
  • Direct support for field leadership and decision-making
  • Systems integration, data infrastructure, and digital reporting where the engagement requires it
  • Quarterly performance reviews tied to baseline

Best for

  • Programmes mid-flight that have lost momentum
  • New leadership teams inheriting unfinished work
  • Owners unwilling to hand the reins to a generalist firm

Typical duration: 6–18 months. Retainer plus milestone fees.

Tier III

Strategic Performance Advisory

Senior counsel for owners and boards. Answers the question: are we still solving the right problem?

What’s included

  • Standing advisory relationship at principal level
  • Periodic strategic review of the programme or portfolio
  • Independent perspective on management performance
  • Confidential sounding board on critical decisions
  • Selective field visits where the question warrants it

Best for

  • Owners of multi-site or multi-programme operations
  • Family offices or foundations holding ecological assets
  • Boards wanting a senior, candid second opinion

Typical duration: 12 months, renewing. Annual retainer.

How to choose

Match the tier to the question.

Most clients begin with a diagnostic and decide together whether deeper work is warranted. We don’t up-sell — and we’ll decline the work if a tier isn’t the right fit.

Start with Tier I if…

You suspect the picture leadership has of the situation may not match the field. The diagnostic gives you that, fast.

Move to Tier II if…

You know what needs to change, but you do not have the senior bench-strength to drive change at standard.

Hold Tier III if…

You want continuity of judgement across years, not a transactional engagement that ends with a deliverable.

What we will not do

The discipline cuts both ways.

We are clear about the work we are not the right firm for — and equally clear about declining work that does not meet our standards.
